The expectation is a Crazy word and in this world, lots of people have lots of expectations from others and from oneself.
But are these expectations healthy for your life and for your Mental Health? The answer is Hell No!.

How Expectations cause D
Now your many(most) expectations will not fulfill and when this happens you could feel feelings like sadness, hopelessness, irritation, anger, low-confidence, disappointment, guilt and…
Thoughts like “Why this thing(expectation) doesn’t happen”, “I have imagined so much but nothing happens according to my plan(expectation)”, “Shit! I expected 90 marks but I get only 85 marks “, “I expect him to come and wish me but he is not doing so”. All these thoughts generate negative energy only.
Now as you start living your days with these negative feelings and thoughts which will be amplified if your future expectations don’t fulfill and in the end, these feelings can culminate into a new most negative feeling called depression.
So What To Do?
Stop having any expectation from yourself and from others.
Expectations are not a good thing to have, as when you have an expectation- either from others or yourself- you bond your happiness with this expectation.
If these expectations fulfill, you feel happy but when these expectations don’t come to fruition, you could feel sadness, hopelessness, irritation, anger, etc.
Also, Remember, Expectations fulfilled would always be less than the expectations not fulfilled(I’m not generalizing it but I think this is true- Do tell me in the comment section if your expectations always fulfil).
So, having a habit of expectations will give you more sadness than happiness, then why choose expectations.
Instead Choose No Expectations and you will be happier and more importantly, you will live a more peaceful life.
Expectations Bind you and having No Expectations Free you. You get freedom when you live a life of Zero Expectations.
